| Up to 2013 there was no access through Glen Canyon downstream from the Acorn Bridge through a 10 meter wide easement through private property. The original trail had been eroded away by Powers Creek and overgrown with vegetation.
GBTAPS volunteered to construct the new trail through this easement plus improve the remainder of the trail from the new stairways in the lower Park up through and above the Acorn Bridge. Work completed from 2013 to 2020.
The new crib stair entrance to the Upper Glen Canyon Regional Park off Lower Glenrosa Rd was completed in 2021. |
